This morning secondary students faced off in our school's first Spelling Bee competition. Grade 11 student Susana Amores Torres bested nearly 30 of her peers to win the title of Spelling Bee Grand Champion. Students were enthusiastic to participate in the competition and some expressed their excitement for learning and mastering English. "Today I am very proud of myself and more confident in front of my friends and teachers," said runner-up Park Ji Eun. "Next year," she said, "I aim to win the top prize in the Spelling Bee." Congratulations to our top spellers, and thank you to everyone who participated.
