Summer Musical “The Jungle Book”

On the bright summer day of June 5th 2025, the stage of TH School transformed into a fresh and vibrant green forest in the musical called “The Jungle Book” – an annual summer musical event, with the participation of talented “young actors” from 2 to 10 years old from TH School.

“The Jungle Book” is a musical based on the novel series by Rudyard Kipling, the inspiration for the famous Disney animated film (1967). The play follows Mowgli, a boy raised by wolves, on his journey to explore the green forest with his animal friends Baloo, Bagheera and Kaa. The adventure brings profound lessons about friendship, respect for nature and courage to face difficulties.

After many weeks of practice, for the first time at TH School, all Kindergarten and Primary students have excellently transformed into classic characters in the musical. Through singing, dancing and energetic acting, the students have brought complete and memorable performances to the stage.

 

Behind the sparkling stage lights is the great dedication of the teachers and staff of TH School - who have painstakingly prepared each costume, props and elaborate stage set, creating a professional yet intimate and familiar performance space from classroom supplies for the students to confidently shine.

At TH School, in addition to teaching the Vietnamese music program, the school also actively incorporates international performing arts into the curriculum, in which musicals stand out. Through the recent musical performance, THSers not only had access to and experience with the big stage from a young age, but also practiced their confidence, teamwork skills, performance skills, facial expressions, gestures, voice and singing, and improved their English proficiency.
