"Every day, I wake up to my alarm clock at 5:45, drink an orange juice and have 2 slices of toast for breakfast, then I take a 20-minute bus ride to school," said Mr Nic, Grade 5 teacher and Maths Day Coordinator. "Numbers are all around us, and it's very interesting when you think about it."
Students from KG1 to Grade 5 celebrated World Maths Day with a series of fun activities centered on mathematics. They made hats decorated with formulas and played several puzzle games, including a math-themed scavenger hunt.
