The Grade 8 Maths Challenge, held at TH School Chùa Bộc, was organised by teachers of the Hanoi Maths Hub for Grade 8 students from numerous bilingual international schools in Hanoi: Olympia, Nguyễn Siêu, Horizon Academy, the British Vietnamese International School of Hanoi and TH Schools. The students took part in a range of fun and interesting competitions, including: designing a logo, team relay, a treasure hunt, open ended problems and logic puzzles. The final event was for the students to build a bridge and test their construction.
The Maths Challenge offered students an opportunity to interact with their peers from other bilingual and international schools in Hanoi in a friendly, fun and competitive environment using their knowledge in mathematics. It was also an opportunity to improve their teamwork, creativity, communication and critical thinking skills.
