Integrating AI In Study At TH School Hoa Lac

At TH School, students are regularly equipped with new skill sets to adapt and grow holistically in the 21st century.

A group of Grade 9, 10, and 11 students at TH School Hoa Lac recently participated in a special lesson on Artificial Intelligence (AI) as part of the Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) program.

With guidance from Mr. Brett Grant, Assistant Principal at Hoa Lac, and the teaching staff, our students explored how to apply AI tools in their academic practices responsibly and effectively. While encouraging students to engage with cutting-edge technology, the teachers also emphasized on the importance of using technology as a learning aid to yield better outcomes without becoming dependent on it.

Additionally, the Global Perspectives academic team at TH School Hoa Lac has developed an AI Continuum on 5 levels of AI usage for their subject. The continuum includes detailed descriptions of when and how AI technology can be appropriately used, along with relevant examples of prompt. This will help students harness new technology in their learning process and build emerging skills like AI literacy to fuel life-long success.

TH School hopes that students can turn this knowledge into a solid skill set, empowering them to confidently master technology and therefore, enter the new era with the proficiency in utilizing AI and other technologies as a whole.
