The Kindergarten and Primary "Granny Awards" musical performance marked the end of an exciting school year.
Under the guidance of KG and Primary Music Teacher Ms. Anissa Ruiz and the support of other teachers including Hòa Lạc Music Teacher Mrs. Suzanne Blewett, Primary EAL Teacher Mr. Ryan Sova, KG/Primary Teacher Ms. Janie Turner, our young students shared talented and entertaining performances.
The program led with Pre-KG's performance of "Hickory Dickory Dock," and the students certainly charmed the audience over in their costumes, swinging and dancing along to the music. Afterward, KG and Primary students delivered confident performances in English of "The Three Piggy Opera" and "The Granny Awards."
Parents were not only impressed with the excellent performances but excited to see the happiness on their children's faces as they shined on stage. This is the result of many hours of dedicated rehearsal over the past few weeks. For the students, performing arts events are an opportunity to hone teamwork skills, build their confidence, and exercise performance skills.
