English Co-Teacher (Vietnamese, Hoa Lac Campus)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Co-Teaching in English with International Teacher for students in grades 6-12 according to IMYC, IGCSE, A-level programs

• Supervising students, developing lesson plans, preparing lesson material, and maintaining classroom tidiness with International Teacher

• Tutoring one student or small groups of students when required

• Support parent conferences

• Exam supervision and markers when required

• Classroom organization and student management on teaching software: Google classroom, Class Dojo, Seesaw, Hangout when required

• Co-head of class with International Teachers: learn and understand students in the class in all aspects to take measures to organize a close-to-target education to promote class progress

• Duties

• Cover lessons when International Teachers are off

• Support to organize extracurricular activities for students throughout the school: Winter concert, Tet Festival, Ring The Golden Bell, Open day, ECA…

• Professional training and report writing, harvest post-training

• Attend school meetings, professional team meetings

• Order school equipment and supplies for students

• Report regularly or irregularly (if there is a special situation) on the class situation to the School Administrator

• Responsible for organizing and managing teaching aids and tools in school

JOB REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATION:

• At least Bachelor's Degree in English field

RELATED EXPERIENCE:

• At least 1 years teaching/co-teaching experience in English. Teaching/Co-Teaching International programs will be an advantage.

• Experience in working at the bi-lingual, international schools or schools with foreign elements will be an advantage

• Experience with Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level is desired but not essential. The successful candidate will be trained in this curriculum if necessary.
