Our students return from an exciting week at the World Scholar's Cup Tournament of Champions at Yale University

Following their wins at the World Qualifiers last July, TH School students made the journey to New Haven, Connecticut to compete in the final round of the World Scholar's Cup, called the Tournament of Champions, at Yale University. After four days of competition, six of our Grade 11 and 12 students earned 23 medals and several impressive awards.

The group with Nguyen Dac Ngoc Mai, Bui Nguyen Phuong Nhu, and Le Hong Thuy earned a silver medal for Debate Champion and a silver medal for Team Debate.

The group with Bui Lam Tra, Nguyen Tran Khanh Mai, and Nguyen Anh Trung earned a silver medal in the Scholar’s Bowl.

And Nguyen Anh Trung earned a gold medal for 1st in School, silver medals for Challenge, Debate, Writing, History and Science, and recognition as the Top 17 in Social Studies.

Our students took advantage of their close proximity to New York City and boarded a train for Grand Central Station to spend some time exploring the Big Apple.

Congratulations to our champions for representing TH School and Vietnam at the World Scholar's Cup!
