A SUMMER OF PASSION WITH MUN (MODEL UNITED NATIONS)
Before heading off to university, Hoang Tuan Tu (Class of 2025, TH School Vinh) dedicated his entire 18-year-old summer to MUN (Model United Nations). During three days as a delegate at HUYMUN, one of the largest MUN conferences in Hanoi, Tu engaged in dynamic debates on global issues, connected with many talented young people, and was honored with the Outstanding Delegate award. This experience broadened his worldview and helped him sharpen his critical thinking and communication skills. Following HUYMUN, Tu continued to contribute to the MUN community by taking on the role of Head of Content for YUMUN, an upcoming conference in his hometown of Nghe An.
This summer was also a meaningful journey for ten members of the TH School Debate Team, who boldly participated in HMUN (Hanoi Model United Nations), one of the largest and most prestigious MUN conferences in Vietnam, for the first time. At HMUN, the students confidently debated global issues in English, while learning how to negotiate, listen actively, and propose sustainable solutions. Through the experience, they developed essential skills such as patience, critical thinking, multi-dimensional reasoning, and empathetic listening.

A SUMMER OF VIBRANT COLORS
In the summer of 2025, for Chu Khanh Bao Anh (Grade 7B - TH School Chua Boc), art became a way to reconnect with Vietnamese cultural roots. Her painting “Sunrise Over the Ho Dynasty Citadel” was selected for exhibition in France, surpassing over 1,000 entries from 17 countries in the “Ruc ro Viet Nam” art contest. Using water-based paper and professional watercolor paints, Bao Anh portrayed the majestic beauty of the ancient citadel, with a red dragon soaring through the sunrise and the rising sun behind the citadel symbolising national pride and hope for Vietnam’s rising era.
Meanwhile, Phung Ngan Khanh (Grade 8C - TH School Chua Boc) continued her self-discovery journey through art with an artwork displayed at the art exhibition of GreenSum Freer Hanoi. Khanh’s work this time is a paper painting with different shades of blue, layered in a spiral shape to create depth and enveloping half of a glass sphere. Through this piece, Khanh conveyed a powerful message: Regardless of being scrutinized or lacking support, each person should persistently pursue what they love to find true happiness.

A SUMMER OF IGNITING DREAMS
Having long nurtured the dream of earning a high-value scholarship to reduce the financial burden on his family, Vu Sy Nam Anh (Class of 2025, TH School Vinh) turned that dream into reality with a 90% scholarship to VinUniversity. Now, Nam Anh is determined to be a companion who helps other students achieve their dreams. This summer, he has taken on the role of mentor, guiding students through the VinUni scholarship application process with his valuable experiences.
As a mentor, Nam Anh and the team have been accompanying students through three key stages of the scholarship application process: building a CV, writing essays, and preparing for interviews. He is currently mentoring eight students, three of whom have already been awarded VinUni scholarships at the levels of 80%, 65%, and 60%. These results highlight Nam Anh’s strong mentorship skills, solid academic foundation, and wholehearted dedication throughout the process.
