Lost In TH School Fairytale Land On World Book Day
Category
Across the campus, familiar characters seemed to step right out of storybooks, brought to life through the lively costumes of teachers and Kindergarten and Primary students.
A series of exciting events celebrating World Book Day was enthusiastically embraced by students, including the costume parade, book title guessing contest, book fair, puppet-making, and bookmark decorating. These activities allowed students to fully immerse themselves in the magical world of stories.
Specially, TH School was delighted to welcome Mr. Tony Lê Nguyễn, a Vietnamese-Australian director with nearly 30 years of experience in the arts and teaching. In his drama workshop, young THSers had the opportunity to explore the beauty of language and the art of emotional expression. This activity not only introduced them to a new world but also helped relieve stress, express and nurture emotions, and develop linguistic thinking.
World Book Day at TH School came to a close with bright smiles on every student 's faces. Beyond bringing joy, excitement, and curiosity, this event was also a wonderful opportunity for students to embrace the reading culture at TH School and nurture a love for literacy at a young age.
