Korean Language Teacher (Hanoi campuses) (Hết hạn)

TH School is seeking energetic and bilingual instructors to teach Korean to secondary school students
(grades 6-12) at various levels of proficiency in Hanoi.
Our Korean language program will reinforce Korean language skills to native Korean students,
connecting Korean language, culture, and history. The purpose is to allow our Korean students to
communicate and integrate higher language skills back into Korean society when they return.
As an educator, you will have the intrinsic ability to teach with both patience and passion and are
excited for this unique opportunity to build a bridge in the community.
The teaching load is up to a maximum 25 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
 Provide a safe, thriving, and respectful learning environment for all students in the classroom
 Manage student behavior in accordance with School Guidelines
 Communicate necessary information regularly to students, teachers, staff, and parents
regarding student progress and student needs
 Plan, prepare and deliver Korean Language aligned to lesson plans and teaching materials that
facilitate active learning
 Promote high standards in Korean language including, reading writing, listening and speaking
 Regularly measure student progress, give feedback, and provide progress reports
 Keep records on attendance, accidents, incidents, and other noteworthy events
 Participate in appropriate professional learning and meetings
 Participate in department, school and parent meetings
 Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
 Teaching degree in Korean language
 Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
 3 years of teaching experience (preferred)
 Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
 Ability to build relationships effectively and professionally with co-workers and students
 Demonstrated ability to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum
