Communications Executive

Location: TH Schools
Reports to: Marketing Manager and Business Director (when required)

 

Position Summary

The Communications Executive strengthens TH Schools’ brand voice by managing internal and external communications, crafting compelling bilingual content, and ensuring consistent, high-quality messaging across all platforms. This role plays a key part in supporting student admissions, enhancing community engagement, and promoting TH Schools’ reputation across media, digital channels, and internal audiences.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager and the wider marketing team (Graphic Designers, Media & Content Producer, Marketing Executive), the Communications Executive ensures that every message—online or offline—accurately reflects TH Schools’ values and contributes to enrollment growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Writing & Editorial Management

  • Produce clear, engaging, bilingual (EN/VI) content for:
    • Website articles & landing pages
    • Social media captions
    • Newsletters & parent communications
    • Press releases, interviews, and media statements
    • Event scripts, speeches, and announcements
  • Proofread and edit content created by internal teams and external vendors.
  • Maintain editorial standards for tone, accuracy, and brand alignment.

 

2. Internal Communications

  • Manage and publish TH Schools’ monthly report to display on digital screen.
  • Draft internal announcements, staff updates, and school-wide messages.
  • Support crisis communication and sensitive messaging with clarity and professionalism.
  • Ensure safeguarding, consent, and compliance in all communications.

 

3. External Communications & PR

  • Serve as the primary contact for press, media outlets, and communication agencies.
  • Write press releases, coordinate interviews, and prepare media kits.
  • Liaise with journalists, partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Monitor public sentiment and online mentions to protect brand reputation.
  • Manage contracts, paperwork, and documentation related to PR and media activities.

 

4. Social Media & Digital Communication

  • Proactively gather information and stories across all campuses to create compelling content.
  • Collaborate with the Media Producer and Designers to ensure messaging consistency.
  • Manage, update, and optimize TH Schools’ social media platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
  • Support website content updates and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Review analytics with the Marketing Executive to refine communication strategies.

 

5. Event Communication & Community Engagement

  • Prepare communication materials for Open Days, fairs, school tours, and community events.
  • Coordinate messaging before, during, and after events (emails, scripts, announcements, recaps).
  • Support event coverage by working with the Media Producer and Designers.
  • Highlight school achievements, activities, and milestones through storytelling.

 

6. Content Management & Reporting

  • Create and maintain a system to store, organize, and manage all communication materials.
  • Track workload, deadlines, and communication outputs.
  • Provide weekly reports to the Marketing Manager.
  • Support and coordinate all communication tasks related to special projects with VTV.
  • From time to time, undertake additional duties and tasks as assigned by the Marketing Manager and Business Director.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in communications, PR, or content creation (education sector preferred).
  • Demonstrated portfolio of written content, campaigns, or communication materials.
