Welcome New Vietnamese Principal of TH Schools

Professor Nguyễn Khánh Diệu Hồng takes over the position of Vietnamese Principal of TH Schools on August 1, 2020.

TH School is honored to welcome Professor Nguyen Khanh Dieu Hong to take over the position of Vietnamese Principal of the TH Schools, TH Education Group from August 1st, 2020.  She has been a Senior Advisor of the TH School Management Board for over four years and contributed significantly to TH School System's development since the very start.

Professor Nguyen Khanh Dieu Hong achieved numerous prominent academic successes, both domestically and internationally, at a very young age.  In 2007, at the age of 26, she obtained her PhD in Chemistry from the University College London.  She then went on to work as a Postdoctoral in the Royal Institution of Great Britain.  When returning to Vietnam, Dr Dieu Hong lectured at the Chemical Engineering  University of Science and Technology in Hanoi and was recognized as Associate Professor in 2012 at the age of 31, becoming the youngest Associate Professor at that time.  With many Scientific Achievements recognized Domestically and Internationally, Dr Dieu Hong was promoted as the 'the youngest Professor' of Viet Nam at the age of 38 in 2019.

In her expertise, Professor Dieu Hong has made many contributions to the growth and development of Chemistry through her research here in Viet Nam.  Professor Hong has obtained notable awards such as: the Gold medal from the World Intellectual Property Organization in 2003, the Silver medal in Global Discussion in English, the first place in the Technological Creation contest held by VIFOTEC in 2004, the Gold medal from CEPIN for scientific research in 2007. She has had published six specialized books, 2 of which were published in New York City.  Professor Dieu Hong was also the Director of ten research projects sponsored by the UK Government, the Vietnamese Government and international organizations as Global Challenge Fund.  For many years, she has received the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, President and Central Propaganda Department of Viet Nam for her achievements.

In the field of Education, Professor Nguyen Khanh Dieu Hong is also an experienced teacher and manager with seventeen years experiences in Education and training, 2 years teaching Chemistry in the A-Level program in the UK, she also had more than 3 years of experience participating in the project "Implementing the program of Western Australia combining Philology, History and Geography of the Vietnamese program for Grades 11 and 12" at Vietnam International School. Since 2016, Professor Dieu Hong has consulted to build models and programs for TH Schools.

In her new position as the Vietnamese Principal of TH School System, Professor Nguyen Khanh Dieu Hong will work closely with International Principals, continuing to develop TH School Campuses in Hanoi.  In addition, Professor Dieu Hong will help in training Vietnamese teachers to meet the International Standards in order to expand TH school's model in provinces across the country.

On the day Professor Nguyen Khanh Dieu Hong took over her new position, Madame Thai Huong, Founder of TH School System, sent a bouquet of flowers with congratulations to the new Vietnamese Principal of TH School System.  Madame Thai Huong said, "I am fortunate and proud as Professor Dieu Hong accepted to take this great responsibility at TH School.  I hope that with her intellect, experience and ability, Professor Hong will help fulfill my ambition of contributing to the comprehensive renovation of Vietnamese Education in the fastest and the most effective way, helping Vietnamese students access International Curriculum in their home Country. I am confident that Ms. Hong will be a shining example of the spirit of striving, dedicating and serving her Home Country not only for the generations of students of TH School but also for Vietnamese young people in general.
