Student Achievements of the week (October 13–19, 2025)

Continuing the spirit of “Going Beyond” in the 2025-2026 academic year, TH School students once again demonstrated their talent, determination, and passion for learning across various fields – from Mathematics and International Academics to Foreign Languages.
This week, the school proudly recognizes three outstanding students: Trần Phúc Lâm (G3J), Phạm Trần Vân Linh (G6C), and Hoàng Ngọc Bảo Trân (G8B) for their remarkable accomplishments at both national and international levels.

1. Phạm Trần Vân Linh (G6C) – Vietnam Champion at the Harvard Crimson Global Quiz Bowl 2025 (Mathematics)

The Harvard Crimson Global Quiz Bowl (HCGQB) is an international academic competition organized by Harvard University, attracting hundreds of students worldwide who compete across a wide range of subjects.

In the 2025 season, Phạm Trần Vân Linh (G6C) achieved an impressive milestone by becoming the Vietnam Champion in the Individual Mathematics category for Middle School students.
This remarkable result reflects Linh’s proactive learning attitude, quick analytical thinking, and curiosity for knowledge – all of which represent the dynamic and confident spirit of TH School students.

2. Trần Phúc Lâm (G3J) – Silver Medal at the Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad 2025 (HKIMO)

The Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO) is one of the world’s most prestigious math competitions, bringing together thousands of contestants from over 30 countries. With strong logical thinking, sharp problem-solving skills, and a genuine love for mathematics, Trần Phúc Lâm proudly earned a Silver Medal at the 2025 International Final Round.

Determined to challenge himself further, Phúc Lâm has set a goal to return next year and achieve an even higher result.
This accomplishment not only highlights his outstanding mathematical abilities but also reflects the solid academic foundation that TH School has built for its students from the primary level onward.

3. Hoàng Ngọc Bảo Trân (G8B) – Impressive IELTS 8.0 at Middle School Level

The IELTS exam is a globally recognized measure of English proficiency, requiring strong performance across four key skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. Through perseverance, discipline, and consistent practice in TH School’s English-speaking learning environment, Hoàng Ngọc Bảo Trân (G8B) achieved an impressive IELTS score of 8.0 – an exceptional result for a middle school student.

Bảo Trân’s success demonstrates the effectiveness of TH School’s 80:20 bilingual teaching approach, with 80% of learning conducted in English. This immersive environment encourages students to use English naturally every day, helping them not only master the language but also develop confidence, critical thinking, and a strong academic foundation for future success.
