On the stage set up at the schoolyard, with music, the students led listeners to start the summer journey with clear sounds and original emotions bearing the vibrations of youth. Followed by intense emotions, traumatic failures to reach adulthood.
Special guests of the program such as Nguyen Quoc Huy Khanh, Nguyen Anh Duc (Malvin), Bet Band also contributed to making the emotional journey in "My dear summer" more complete.
The audience at the stage of "My dear summer" seemed to return to their 18-year-old youth full of rage and emotions that are hard to put into words. More than 200 guests together turned on the flash to harmonize with the emotions of pure youth.
The music night “My dear summer” was performed by 12th graders at TH School as a gift to thank their teachers and to keep these precious moments with friends and family before saying goodbye to school to start a new school year - the beginning of a new adult journey.
Beyond the framework of an entertainment music event, My Dear Summer also has a mission of sharing and giving back to the community. 50% of the profits will be used to help children and teachers in remote areas and ethnic minority areas in the North or Central of Vietnam.
Nguyen Khanh Chi, a student of grade 12C, the MC of the program shared: “The program may be just a simple and original musical experience for parents, teachers and guests, but for the organizer, this is a beautiful and precious memory. Because all members of the organizing committee are students who have been studying and graduating at TH School."
Mr. Nguyen Van Lanh, the parent of Nguyen Thanh Dat said: “The children came up with the idea of the program; designing and printing publications; event scheduling; divide the work for each other in each department, apply for sponsorship, arrange the stage, ... invite guests, sell tickets and perform live on stage. The fact that the children do all the work in the music project will help them gain practical experience when organizing an event. Watching my children grow up and mature at TH School, I am very proud. On the way you go, the skills you practice at TH School will be a valuable baggage for you to integrate with the world.”
“I find the philosophy of “Empowering the next generation of leaders” at TH School to be alive and present on the music scene today, right in every student participating in this event,” said Ms. Vu. Thanh Huyen, an audience member watching My dear summer shared.
“Having a summer” will become a cherished youth memory of the 12th graders of TH School, a loving goodbye to friends, teachers and students under the roof of a beloved school.
