On 12 and 13 September, students at both our Chùa Bộc and Hoà Lạc campuses shared in mid-autumn festivities with the entire TH School family.

Earlier in the week, students decorated lovely handmade lanterns to hang around the school. With an eye toward environmental protection, students made their lanterns with recycled materials and were happy to contribute to making the Moon Festival feel warm and complete.

A lot of fun activities were organized for the Moon Festival, including team building games and activities such as the balloon race, hula hoop, and banana hunger, which not only provide a bit of fun and honor cultural traditions but also help students develop solidarity and teamwork skills.

As a boarding school that welcomes international students, the Mid-Autumn Festival at TH School Hoà Lạc was also a very special occasion. In addition to team building activities, students made traditional rice cakes, including those common in celebration of the Korean Mid-Autumn holiday of Chuseok. Grade 10 student Kim Yee Un said, "I have seen my mother make rice cakes many times before but this is the first time I tried it. It was really interesting and reminds me of the Korean Mid-Autumn holiday."
