MASTERCHEF JUNIOR 2024 - Where Culinary Talents Meet

10 teams comprised of 30 talented young chefs from various schools in Hanoi competed in the Masterchef Junior 2024 - the first inter-school cooking competition held at TH School Hoa Lac.

After weeks of preparation, 10 teams comprised of 30 talented young chefs from various schools in Hanoi competed in the Masterchef Junior 2024 - the first inter-school cooking competition held at TH School Hoa Lac.

To increase the challenge and fairness of the competition, this morning, the contestants opened a "mystery box" containing the main ingredient for today's dish: chicken breast. From chicken rice inspired by traditional “cơm tấm” to creamy chicken pasta, these young chefs combined a variety of local and international cuisines, demonstrating advanced cooking techniques, creativity, and quick thinking.

The judging panel, consisting of renowned culinary experts such as journalist Nguyen Vinh Quyen; lecturer and former Executive Chef at many 5-star restaurants, Mr. Chu Hoang Hiep; and Mr. Daniel Mark Moore, a three-time winner of the title "English Young Chef of the Year", provided constructive feedback and comments to all teams. After careful consideration, the top 3 teams were announced.

- Hanoi Star School team with their Pan-fry chicken with orange sauce and salad for winning Masterchef Junior 2024!

️- TH School 2 team with their Chicken pasta with International sauce for the 1st runner-up!

️- FPT High School 2 team with their Crispy chicken rice with rich honey sauce for the 2nd runner-up!
