Business Trips for A-Level students at TH School
FOLLOWING THS-ERS VINH TO BAO NGOC SAI GON FOR HANDS-ON LEARNING
"Knowledge is the key that opens the door, but experience is what helps you walk through it."
Marketing, pricing, and production processes are the knowledge that THS-ers grade 11 in Vinh are learning in their Business subject (A level program); at the same time, these are also the lessons learned from real-world experience that they received after a half-day visit to Bao Ngoc Sai Gon food production facility.
Our students were warmly welcomed by the staff of Bao Ngoc, and a well-prepared corporate presentation by their representative. In addition, our students also had the opportunity to witness the scale and efficiency of the production process at a professional bakery facility.
GRADE 11 & 12 AND THEIR LEARNING EXPERIENCE AT THE FAMOUS MAROU CHOCOLATE
As well related to their knowledge in the Business subject, the field trip of Grade 11 - 12 students of Chua Boc and Hoa Lac campuses to Marou Chocolate has helped them improve their understanding of the food industry. There, the unique experiences through the chocolate tasting tour have helped our students better understand the different flavours, how to enjoy chocolate in general, and the famous Marou chocolate in particular.
Not only did THS-ers learn about domestic cacao products, but this field trip also encouraged them with pride and responsibility to preserve and promote the value of products made with 100% Vietnamese ingredients.
VISITING SAMSUNG FACTORY WITH GRADE 10 STUDENTS
A field trip to the Samsung factory in Thai Nguyen for Grade 10 students of the Chua Boc and Hoa Lac campuses recently brought them many exciting and beneficial experiences. Our students had the opportunity to learn about the production process for smartphones of a leading global technology company. In addition, this was also an opportunity for the students to explore the working-leisure space with many state-of-the-art facilities for employees of the “technology giant” from South Korea.
Through this trip, our students gained more knowledge about the electronics industry and improved their observation skills; simultaneously, it promoted the development of their spirit of curiosity and exploration.
