At TH School, our Student Support Services ensure that all students have equal access to learning opportunities and receive the academic, social, emotional, and physical support needed to succeed. Through a collaborative, student-centred approach, we guide students in setting meaningful goals, developing effective learning strategies, and preparing confidently for the future.
Student wellbeing is essential to learning. Our school counsellor provides a safe and supportive space for students to develop resilience, manage challenges, and build positive relationships. Safeguarding is a core priority at TH School, and all staff share responsibility for maintaining a safe and caring environment.
The EAL program supports students whose first language is not English, helping them access the curriculum and participate confidently in school life. Teachers and EAL specialists provide targeted support in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, focusing on academic vocabulary, comprehension, writing structure, fluency, and understanding classroom instruction. Support is tailored to each student’s language level and delivered through small-group or individual instruction, with ongoing monitoring of progress.
TH School’s Learning Support program provides personalised support for students who require additional assistance in accessing and engaging with the curriculum. Learning Support specialists collaborate with teachers, students, and families to develop targeted interventions, accommodations, and Student Support Plans that promote academic success and personal growth. In addition to supporting individual learning needs, the program helps students develop essential executive functioning skills, study strategies, and self-advocacy skills that foster independence, confidence, and lifelong learning.
Each TH School campus is supported by a full-time nurse who provides daily healthcare, first aid, and medical support. In addition, our quality food service program provides healthy snacks and a balanced lunch each day, promoting student wellbeing, energy, and focus.
At TH School, every student is known, supported, and guided—academically, personally, and toward a successful future.
From Grades 9–12, students receive extensive, personalised guidance throughout their university search and application process. Our structured program supports students in exploring interests and strengths, identifying suitable university options worldwide, and navigating every stage of the application journey.
Students are guided in course selection, career planning, university research, application timelines, personal statements, and preparation for interviews and admissions requirements. Our goal is to ensure each student graduates with a clear, well-supported pathway to higher education and future success.
