Middle School:

The Cambridge Lower Secondary Program , IMYC Program helps students build a strong academic foundation, critical thinking skills, and a global outlook.

TH School Middle School offers a rigorous, well-balanced academic program that combines the internationally recognized Cambridge Lower Secondary Curriculum with the engaging, inquiry-driven framework of the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC). Students build strong foundations in key academic disciplines, including English, Mathematics, Sciences, and Social Sciences, through a challenging curriculum designed to develop deep subject knowledge, critical thinking, and independent learning skills.

Through the IMYC, students explore “big ideas” that connect learning across disciplines, encouraging them to ask questions, make meaningful connections, and apply their understanding to real-world contexts. The program also promotes international mindedness, helping students appreciate diverse perspectives and develop as globally aware learners. Together, these complementary approaches provide a strong academic foundation and exceptional preparation for success in the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level programs.

Our holistic approach balances academic excellence with the development of students’ personal dispositions, well-being, and international mindedness. The curriculum’s flexibility allows schools to tailor subject offerings to student needs and school ethos, while the thematic structure ensures coherence and relevance, building a strong foundation for success in high school and beyond.

The curriculum is designed to be flexible, allowing the school to adapt and combine different subjects to suit students’ abilities and the school’s educational philosophy.
