TH School is proud to be a Vietnamese school that offers an international education programme delivered by qualified expatriate teachers with recognised academic and teaching credentials. Upon graduation, students receive internationally recognised qualifications, including IGCSE and A-Level certificates awarded by Cambridge International Education, UK. In addition to the international curriculum, students spend approximately 20% of their learning time studying the Vietnamese language and exploring Vietnam’s culture and heritage.
The school has invested in modern, internationally benchmarked facilities. Learning resources, equipment, and practical teaching materials are carefully selected to support students’ academic development and are sourced from leading educational providers in the United Kingdom and the United States.
TH School is not a bilingual school, as students do not study the Vietnamese national curriculum alongside an international curriculum. While TH School is not officially classified as an international school, students benefit from a fully international curriculum taught by expatriate teachers in a state-of-the-art learning environment, while continuing to develop a strong connection to the Vietnamese language, culture, and traditions.
TH School is also proud to be a diverse international community, bringing together students and educators from nearly 30 nationalities, creating a global learning environment that inspires students to thrive and achieve their aspirations.
TH School proudly implements an 80/20 educational model, where 80% of teaching and learning is delivered in English through an international curriculum designed to foster inquiry, critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation. Alongside this global approach, 20% of instructional time is delivered in Vietnamese through subjects within the Vietnamese National Curriculum, including Literature, History, Geography, and Civic Education, in alignment with the guidelines of Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training. In particular, students learn about culture and art through lessons on Vietnamese traditional musical instruments or in art classes…
Compared with many other international schools in Vietnam, TH School offers a more comprehensive Vietnamese language and cultural education. Students are given opportunities to explore Vietnamese heritage through subjects and activities such as traditional musical instruments, visual arts, and other culturally enriching learning experiences.
This educational model also provides a distinctive learning experience for international students. Through Vietnamese language lessons tailored to real-life contexts and immersive cultural activities, including cooking classes, traditional music, museum visits, and participation in Vietnamese cultural events, students gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s language, traditions, and values, making their experience of living and learning in Vietnam more meaningful and enriching.
The curriculum at TH School is carefully designed to integrate English- and Vietnamese-medium learning, enabling students to develop bilingual proficiency while acquiring academic knowledge effectively. For example, within a unit on waterways and transportation, students may explore Tower Bridge in London during English-language lessons, while learning about Long Biên Bridge in Hanoi through the Vietnamese curriculum. This integrated approach helps students connect global perspectives with local understanding.
TH School offers a comprehensive educational pathway that combines international academic excellence with Vietnamese language and cultural studies.
Students at TH School follow the academic pathway outlined below:
TH School is licensed by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) to deliver an international curriculum integrated with the Vietnamese Excellence Program through its distinctive 80–20 educational model.

In addition, TH School is a full member of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and is recognised by both the Australian Boarding Schools Association (ABSA) and Cambridge.

Students do not need to prepare or revise for TH School’s entrance assessment. Rather than testing subject-specific knowledge, the assessment focuses on evaluating students’ logical reasoning abilities (including verbal, numerical, spatial, and non-verbal reasoning) as well as their English language proficiency across the four key skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
The assessment is age-appropriate and carefully designed to provide an objective reflection of each student’s current abilities. The results also offer valuable insights that enable the school to develop a personalised learning pathway, ensuring that every student receives the support they need to maximise their potential.
At TH School, students are provided with breakfast, lunch, and healthy snacks throughout the day. Menus are carefully designed to offer a wide variety of options while meeting the nutritional needs and preferences of each age group.
Our dedicated culinary team, with experience working in five-star hotels, places great emphasis on balancing nutrition, taste, and presentation to ensure that every meal is both enjoyable and nourishing.
In addition, TH School’s ingredients are sourced directly from TH Group, including products from its dairy and beverage factories as well as its network of farms supplying rice, vegetables, and fruits. This integrated supply chain helps ensure that all meals are prepared with high-quality, safe, and traceable ingredients, supporting students’ health and well-being.
At both the Chua Boc and Hoa Lac campuses, TH School offers school bus services with pick-up and drop-off either at students’ homes or at the most convenient nearby location if direct home access is not possible.
For students enrolled in the Boarding Programme at TH School – Hoa Lac Campus and residing in Hanoi, the school provides transportation support, with buses departing from Hoa Lac to Hanoi on Friday afternoons and returning from Hanoi to the campus on Monday mornings.
For students participating in after-school clubs at the Chua Boc Campus, the School arranges flexible bus schedules with two departure times at 3:15 PM and 4:15 PM. This allows students who are not involved in extracurricular activities to return home earlier without having to wait for other students’ activities to finish.
TH School’s main admissions cycle for the academic year begins in August, and is open throughout the school year.
To maximise students’ opportunity for admission, parents are encouraged to complete the application process as early as possible. If the number of applications exceeds the available places, later applications may be placed on a waiting list. Early application may also provide students with greater advantages when being considered for scholarship opportunities at TH School.
In addition to the main admissions cycle, TH School accepts applications throughout the academic year. This flexible admissions policy supports international students relocating to Vietnam with their families, Vietnamese students returning from overseas, and students currently studying in Vietnam who wish to transfer schools during the semester or academic year.
